Snow Patrol are a British Alternative Rock Band Formed at the University of Dudee in 1994. The Group compromises Gary Lightbody, Jonny Quinn, Nathan Connolly, Paul Wilson, Tom Simpson and Johnny McDaid. Initially an Indie Rock Band.

Welcome Gary! Well... this night I'm gonna ask you about the band and the expectation in the future, also the details about the past and how began everything...Okey...ehmm...tell me... Gary, When was the group formed?

We formed as a band in 1994. We started doing concerts at the university and some of the city pubs. ahmm ... "Lucifer's Mill" is the pub that we were going to play more, in fact is where everything started to evolve.

Wow that's was interesting answer, so Who are the members of the band? and what instruments play each of them?

Well, We all do different roles within the band... I sing, but I also play guitar; Jonny Quinn, he plays drums, Nathan Connolly plays the guitar and do the backing vocals, Paul Wilson plays the bass guitar and also do backing vocals, Tom Simpson plays Keyboards and finally Johnny McDaid plays the piano, guitar and backing vocals, they're a great musicians.

Yeah we know that, they're a fantastic musicians... Ahm actually Which was your most popular song?

It's a very complicated question, cause' we love all our compositions alike, but If I had to answer, I would say that is...Ehmm...'Just say yes', 'Chocolate', 'You're All I Have', ' Crack the Shutter', 'New York', 'Starfighter Pilot', 'You Could be happy', 'Chasing Cars', 'Run' and 'How to Be Dead'... Are the fans have decided as 'Top Ten' and I agree with that, I love all this songs.

And i'm sure that the fans love your songs too...With many years in this race, on this trip How many Records you have done?

We recorded six discs, Which are... Ehmm the first was 'Songs for Polarbears' in 1998, then 'When it's all over we still have to clear up' in 2001 after 'Final Straw' in 2003, Ahmm after 'Eyes Open' in 2006 and the last two 'A hundred million suns' in 2008, 'Fallen Empires' in 2011, that's all until today. 

Ouu time passes very fast, six great hits, tell me... Where have you been giving concerts lately? 

Lately we have been in Houton, Austin, Gran Prairie (TX, US), Nashville... Ahps And for a while we were on tour in Chile, was a lovely experience to be in Latin America.

I see that this year you have much to do, it's amazing how the people love the band... I mean... around the world ... Okey Ehm Finally What else can we expect from you in the future?

Well, this time we have been touring and concerts, but the people will have future compositions!, I can rest assured about that, also We try to compose when we're on tour and always created fresh notion. It was amazing be here today and I hope you enjoy our work, bye!

Interview: Jennifer Lawrence

"Late Show with David Letterman"

Jennifer Lawrence: The Hunger Games.

Jennifer Lawrence is an American actress who began her career at age 14, this young girl surprised us this 2012 with his participation in the movie "The Hunger Games", achieving his first leading role which led to her international recognition with her ​​portrayal of the heroine Katniss Everdeen. It's the first woman in being heroine in an action movie.

Late show with David Letterman is a talk show, now we gonna know how "the hunger games" changed the life of Jennifer Lawrence and how she felt when she knew everything about this film.

In the first part David presented the program and then to Jennifer she appears nervous, but this girl expresses her emotions when David asked her about the movie and If she did know what awaits her,Jennifer said that she was shaking about 2 month and it was a big change for her too. She emphasized that she never paid attention to the success of this movie or something about the money, if there's more o less. Then David answered if she could taste a part of all this stage, but Jennifer explained that she was expecting, because the movie was a successful, but it wasn't what she expected, in a way, she didn't feel that emotion like the others actors, when present at an occasion like this. Because the film is based on a book, David Letterman asked if there could be a possibility that have three movies, (because there are three volumes), laughing she said to David maybe, would be a dream. 

The interviewer wondered something important, What is the audience for the movie?, jennifer admitted that the public for this film could be for a lot of younger, but she concludes that it was for everyone, there's no age, after this she explained how is the people, she said fans fainted, cry and a lot of different emotions, and she didn't know what do; and then Jennifer explained to us that some people entering shock when they approach it, dressed as "Katniss" then they felt miserable because they believed they did the ridiculous, It was a funny explaination, she has a good sense of humor on this part, now can understand what they feel, I mean the famous people, like I said it was a strange form to imagine this seconds of fanatism.

The Interviewer asked Jennifer if she thought she would have that effect on strangers. she said she never thought she could have that power, but it also was considered a "troll" and that the movie was perfect and they had made ​​a mistake by integrating it to her, she answered she hated everything about herself, and we can see that, when she laugh.

Then David Letterman wondered her what felt to be on the red carpet? jennifer said that it was awful, she stumbled 2 or 3 times, but have been massives stumbling, following with the questions, Then David made this question,  how were the nonsense on the red carpet?, to which she explained that was very frightening, Jen got so nervous that in the interviews concluded "I'm like a chihuahua, I shiver and finally I end up making me pee". Leaving her in shock because she said those words front of the interviewers.

David asked if his family had given her the necessary support, she said as a joke that no, but then responded that his two brothers always gave support before leaving for the red carpet and also his brothers were older than she, so David replied how her brothers treated her when they were child?, when Jennifer was little any of his brothers spoke her, but now it was different. whether paparezzi or fans, her brothers protected to her. And admitted has the full support of them.

David acknowledged that he was excited to see the movie, because she was very friendly and laughs a lot, talking in that tone of joke about everything that was asked to respond, David wondered at one point that they to see a part of the movie, she is who should presented the piece of  film, but she didn't understand, feeling confused. After she understand the idea she presented one part of the film.

Seeing the scene passing David asked about books and what happened in this release, Jennifer expressed that was a futuristic world and certain things were kind postapocalyptic, she explained too that in the film some children of 12 to 18 years have been chosen to fight on a TV show to death and the winner have a reward for his colony, his family and for him.

In this part David made direct questions about the movie.

Where did you have the movie? Where they filmed the movie?, she answered in North Carolina. How long did the filming?,About 4 months replied Jennifer, but she had extra training so she was 5 months. People were nice to you? She explained that the people were friendly. Did you record parts of what would be the continuation of this premiere? she argued that no, because she had not endured, and laughing said she would have melted in a couple of weeks, because she was tired. Finally they say goodbye laughing and the interview is terminated at "The Late Show with David".

Definitely the interview is not at all boring, Jennifer has a humility in every word... surprises us much!.

   "Life Inside The ST. Tomás University and Sound Engineering Career".

In general the university can teach us to grow up, we can meet other people and see new things like styles, careers and different thoughts among people. If people ask about the teachers, many students would say that they're good and can understand the personal problem in extreme situations, that is very positive. Talking about other side, we can meet future best friends in some class.

I've seen that when you finish the carrer the University prepares a beautiful ceremony, I mean in all the careers, there's a chorus singing and they wear a special clothes with a hat, in this ceremony we see the parents of the students or someone of the family, there're many emotions, cause is an important moment.We can also see important people such as the University Rector.

But now it's good to talk about the careers like Sound Engineering; In this University we can see the best equipment designed specially for Sound Reinforcemente, like a complete Line Array System, two digital mixers, one analog mixer,dinamic procesors ( Eq, Compressor,etc) .

But also exist two Recording Studios, one of them has a DM2000 this is an analog console, with two speakers, a lot of mics (Shure-Rode and others); The other Recording Studio includes a digital console C24, in this studio we have more space and obviusly in both (Studios) Acoustic Treatment, but the interesting about the second Studio is the 5.1 system. Finally both Studios works with Pro tools HD.

Personally, I think that St. Tomás University is one of the best University in Sound, I mean, in the first days I didn't know almost anything about mixers, consoles or mics, but now I know the differences between mixer and console and other things. Also in my classmate, we're six o seven sometimes, I'm the only girl in some classes, the boys are a bit crazy in the good way, they always maked me laugh a lot, specially Niño who says all the crazy things, we've learned to know and support us. The question is what would I do if I didn't study this career? there two or three answer for that question, but I stay with my present, the now and I don't regret of anything... Not yet...

Olympics Games London 2012.

Tomás González: who achieved a historical classification.

"Tomás González in Voult, Olympics Games London 2012".

Tomás González is the first Chilean artistic gymnast in participating in Olympics Games; Tomás was born in 1985, since 2004 he started to practice this sport, and then no one stopped. Now Tomás achieved will be between the best artistic gymnast.
In London 2012, He Finished fourth in the Floor and Vault finals with a score 15.366 and 16.183 respectively, fighting for the third place with Denis Ablyazin (Russian) in Vault, and the firth place for Zou Kai (Chinese) with a score 15.933 and the second place for Kohei Uchimura (Japenese) with 15.800. "Brazil and the curse in the Olympics Games"
The last saturday México stunned Brazil and keeps with the gold medal. Mexico won 2-1 against Brazil in Wembley Stadium, is like a historical remember, because is the first time that Mexico wins the gold in men's football. Neymar who was the favourite in football dissapointed a whole country with his performance. Mexico stunned in the beginning with the first goal for Oribe Peralta in the minute one. In the first 45 minutes Brazil was like an amateur against Mexico, but for the other side Mexico made his second goal on 74 minutes, staying with the gold. In the last minutes Brazil appeared and scored his only goal.
